SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible to lead, expertly guide and oversee a group of coordinators for their assigned program (Heart Transplant, Mechanical Circulator Support, Kidney Transplant, Liver Transplant) while meeting/exceeding all clinical and regulatory requirements. Provide daily operational oversight of assigned coordinators as well as provide continual regulatory readiness for program surveys and audits. Provides daily clinical support as well as supervisory support such as payroll, performance improvement and evaluation, performance appraisals, disciplinary action, scheduling and case load management for their assigned program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Nursing required
- Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
- Five (5) years of nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Three (3) years of nursing experience in solid organ transplant
- Certification as a Clinical Transplant Coordinator, (CCTC) and/or VAD Certification, as applicable to the role, and approved by the Program Manager. If Certification is not held at time of hire, must establish a plan with Program Manager for obtaining certification within 2 years of date of hire
- Obtains Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification within 2 years
