About this Role:
Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager II, the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) (Specialist), Leadership Development Specialist, functions as a nonsupervisory staff specialist independently responsible for the design, development and delivery of department-wide training on various areas of leadership development topics. The SSM I (Specialist) works with minimal direction and independently develops and directs the conduct of training courses which are in accordance with the laws and rules of applicable control agencies and Department policies. In addition, the SSM I serves as the expert consultant to division management regarding the most complex and sensitive leadership development and performance improvement topics. Further, SSM I serves as a project leader on highly visible projects assigned by the Strategic Planning and Workforce Development Division Chief and/or the Directorate, and completes other complex and sensitive special projects as requested.

Telework Information
