Job Overview
The Learning & Talent Management System Administrator will be responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and optimization of our learning platform to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for users. They will be responsible for collaborating and aligning with various internal stakeholders such as Business Leaders, HR Business Partners, Information Technology, and end users to support the implementation and daily operations of the Learning & Talent Systems. This role involves managing user accounts, course content, system configurations, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing training and support to users as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of LMS functionality, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to meet organizational goals. This role will support logistical coordination of training programs and the creation of communication forums to end-users. In addition, the role will need to remain current in industry trends and offer recommendations to fully utilize the capabilities of each system.

Job Overview

Duties & Responsibilities
System Administration:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the LMS, including user account management, course setup, and content uploads.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal functionality.
- Configure system settings, permissions, and roles to meet the organization's requirements.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Serve as the point of escalation for support issues related to system functionality and software systems, interacting with the LMS vendor and other support services to resolve issues promptly
Content Management:
- Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to upload, organize, and maintain course content within the LMS.
- Offers creative and innovative approaches to delivering and tracking training content via learning systems. Develops and/or delivers standard, repeatable reports and performs routine, robust trend analyses to aid the Leadership Team in making strategic business decisions (e.g. budgetary, ROI, utilization, future investments).
- Upload, organize, and maintain course content, including documents, videos, quizzes, and assignments.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in e-learning technology and instructional design. Ensures content is current, accurate, and aligned with learning objectives.
- Conduct regular audits to review content quality and compliance with standards. Ensure all LMS content abides by company's brand guidelines
User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting user issues, answering inquiries, and providing guidance on system usage.
- Develop and deliver training programs for administrators, instructors, and learners on LMS functionality and best practices.
- Create documentation and tutorials to assist users in navigating the LMS platform effectively.
- Collaborate with others to train various user types (e.g., Learners, Instructors, System Administrators, etc.) on LMS features and functionalities.
- Excellence in customer service, and/or technical support
Data Management and Reporting:
- Generate reports on user activity, course completion rates, and other relevant metrics to assess the effectiveness of training initiatives.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for expansion of the LMS capabilities.
- Maintain data integrity and security protocols, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Manages, leads, and motivates as part of a team to deliver results by communicating company goals and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective coaching and training: implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership.
- Proficient in the use of common content creation tools, including Articulate, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office, among others
- Client Focused, Project Management and effective communication skills
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of LMS applications and systems, with strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of directory and file structures.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to organize; prioritize and work efficiently under pressure and subject to changing priorities; proven experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and using judgment and initiative in problem resolution.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), SharePoint, Adobe suite and Learning Management Systems.
- Must be a self-starter who displays excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively execute using a collaborative approach.
- Innovative and proactive problem-solving skills with an experienced understanding of learning and development

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years of experience in technical roles as an LMS Administrator, with a proven track record of success
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in a relevant field such as Education, Information Technology, or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.
