The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of training content that increases the skills, knowledge, and behaviors of roles within the European and North American Client Project Management (CPM) department. You will work to gather and evaluate learning needs from the CPM team and leadership to identify gaps that require additional training content and development pathways. You will utilize gathered information to develop a strategic plan for the CPM training program. You will also collaborate with partners not only within Contract Testing Services (CTS), such as Operations, Quality, Product Management, and Commercial, but also across Life Science Services (LSS). You will contribute by providing insight, leadership, and oversight of key, high-impact learning initiatives that are harmonized within the CTS CPM teams and aligned with other groups in LSS. This includes but is not limited to CPM team member onboarding, virtual learning programs, instructor-led programs, and other identified training opportunities and learning methodologies. You will have ownership of the Life Science Learning Platform's Project Management learning paths, which encompasses the paths' development and improvements. You will work to develop methods to assess the success of training and development plans and track associated performance metrics. You will work to help raise the visibility and importance of effective training and learning within and external to the CPM department. Additional responsibilities include:Designs, develops, and delivers a variety of training programs that includes support of onboarding, processes knowledge, and growing communication skills.Utilizes a range of delivery methods, including e-learning, instructor-led training, workshops, webinars, and blended learning approaches.Monitors effectiveness of programs and resources against stated objectives and continuously improves the learning curricula, course content, training approach, systems, and delivery.Take a proactive approach to all aspects of training and learning, identifying key performance indicators and/or metrics that should result in repeated or improved trainings.Leverage technologies and tools to enhance the learning experience and improve accessibility.Stay abreast of trends and best practices in L&D and project management to ensure the department remains effective and innovative. Who you are: Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in any discipline4-7+ years' experience in learning and developmentExperience working within a matrix organization and dealing directly with clients, operational teams, and commercial colleagues, globallyDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, both locally and globallyProficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies Preferred Qualifications:MBA or Master's degreeCertification in L&D (e.g., CPLP, ATD)2+ years' experience in managing complex business, commercial, or operations projects within the life science or pharmaceutical industryClear and concise communicator with ability to manage complex information and multiple prioritiesAction oriented self-starter, highly motivated and organized with a drive for resultsPeople oriented, an experienced coach who excels at mentoring and coaching
