  • Responsibilities
    • Triage and assess patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries.
    • Provide immediate medical attention and stabilization for critical conditions.
    • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to determine appropriate treatment plans.
    • Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    • Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
    • Administer medications and treatments as necessary.
    • Counsel patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
    • Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay updated with the latest advancements in emergency medicine.
    • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., MD or DO).
    • A minimum of years of experience working in an emergency department setting.
    • A valid medical license to practice in the state of Tennessee.
    • BLS, PALS
    • Sufficient knowledge of current medical practices and procedures related to emergency medicine.
    • The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Schedule: Monday through Sunday (rotating shifts)
