Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, supply chain management, or industrial engineering.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in a large-scale or complex operational environment.
• Experience leading or participating in continuous improvement projects.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Proven ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Our Global Logistics team is helping build Google's planet-scale computer powering all of Google's services (Cloud, Gmail, YouTube, Search, etc.). We manage critical parts of the supply chain to turn raw components into serving capacity in our data centers. Our team of experts collaborate on challenging problems daily across warehousing, transportation, global trade compliance, and order management.

As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will lead multiple warehouse locations where our Third-Party Logistics Providers (3PL's) will provide all required campus logistics services. In addition to managing the local daily operations, you will lead process improvement programs that can scale across the globe with the other warehouse locations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$154,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Manage 3PL partners with associates on their teams dedicated to our account including account management, spend controls, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), metrics management, and escalation management.
• Own and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), vendor performance scorecards, and development of business cases to support logistics changes and/or improvements.
• Create and manage large budgets each year.
• Own the day-to-day logistics operations management of multiple warehouse locations and utilize industry best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to improve performance, reduce cost, and maintain a safe workplace.
• Create, lead, and support continuous improvement and cross-functional initiatives with a focus on on time and in full improvements.
