Long-term Substitute Grad 7 Science Teacher (august-january)

This long-term substitute position starts August 28, 2024, and ends approximately January 17, 2025. DUTIES: - Instruct students in Science + STEM - Present concepts in instructional and investigational settings - Teach students to understand laboratory safety rules and how to use equipment to investigate topics - Develop lesson plans to promote understanding of complex systems, generating new ideas, making predictions, and applying standard scientific law to solve problems - Prepare class lessons to include daily instruction outlines, classroom assignments, special projects, homework, and tests - Observe and evaluate each student's performance - Update student records to show attendance, grades, and conduct in accordance to school, district, and state policies - Interact with a positive, engaging style - Perform other related duties, as required. SALARY: Per the salary schedule of the Greenfield Education Association Master Contract
