This position reports to

Global Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Each day, you will coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer problems. You will also showcase your expertise by giving input on market price developments and tendencies. While this is a full remote position, successful candidates will be located in the Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC or Cary, NC metro areas. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division. You will be mainly accountable for: • Implementing both short-term and long-term sales targets and strategies for the account and ensuring their achievement through a structured follow-up process across divisions and countries. • Creating added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g., frame agreements, sales planning, and issue resolution). • Monitoring competitors' activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented. • Building long lasting customer relationships and managing the resolution of their specific needs/issues. Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of experience selling to major retailers, preferably residential electrical products.
  • Demonstrated leadership, relationship building skills, strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to successfully negotiate contracts, and effective in negotiation and problem resolu-tion.
  • Experience with CRM applications, preferably Salesforce
  • Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative; self-starter and collaborate within multiple teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. English is a must
