This position reports to

Production Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

• Executes the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB Standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. • Operates machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions. • Performs routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairs and fits simple replacement parts. • Ensures the availability of required materials to execute the assigned work according to defined workflow. • Ensures regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tool set-up, programming activities, and troubleshoots and reports issues, if any. • Maintains a safe working attitude and environment while performing daily activities. • Maintains detailed records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities. • Keeps track of approved, defective units, and final products

Qualifications for the role

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required
• Knowledge and use of tools - tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools.
• Knowledge of 5S - sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain
• Knowledge and use of necessary PPE
• Ability to use crane or other lifting devices, as needed
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
• Ability to speak, read, and write the English Language
• Basic computer skills to be able to look up parts.
• Basic mathematical skills
• Basic communication skills
• Hand, eye coordination skills and use of both hands
