Pay: $17.35 - $18.60
Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Shift

Job Duties:
  • Comply with Company, State and Federal safety requirements
  • Maintain raw material level on assigned machines
  • Construct proper packaging (crates, cradles, boxes, etc.) for profile being produced
  • Verify length of produced profiles, package per crate book instructions
  • Ensure packing label is correct for piece count, color, length
  • Cut up scrap and place in gaylords
  • Perform all aspects of extruder teardown and set-up
  • Perform all aspects of quality functions in accordance with QA work Instructions
  • Troubleshoot raw material, die, and mechanical problems
  • Adhere to time standards set by Supervisor
  • Properly use all standard types of measuring equipment
  • Read and understand production drawings and specifications
  • Adjust machines and equipment to maintain proper tolerances of profiles being produced
  • Participate in training operator trainees
  • Identify and report all problems requiring maintenance action
Experience/ Education
  • Hand and power tools, QA inspections, standard measuring equipment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
