Machine Operator

Miller Brother Staffing in Lancaster, PA has the immediate need of experienced Machine Operators for 1st shift on a 12 hour rotating schedule.

Pay Rate - $19-$20/hour based on experience
Shift: 1 st Shift: 7am-7pm on Rotating Schedule. 44 hours 1 week, 36 hours next week. Every other weekend off. Candidates will always know their schedule for the year.
Training Schedule for first 2 weeks: Monday-Friday 7am- 3-4pm then will move to rotating schedule

Job Description/Duties
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating site-specific equipment (Blow Molding) and meeting all production, quality and safety requirements.
Machine Operator Job Duties:
Efficient operation of machines and other associated equipment to produce plastic products according to specification
- Set up and troubleshoot equipment and processes
- Perform material handling procedures as required
- Perform and assist with mold changes as required
- Complete all required quality checks, systems checks, production records and logs accurately
- Assist in machine start-ups and shut-downs
- Perform preventative maintenance on related equipment as required
- Follow established quality procedures
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping, GMP Practices and Global Food Safety Practices
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Knowledge of hand tools

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have experience operating sit-down forklifts
• Must have past production/manufacturing experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50 pounds. Must be able to squat, bend, twist, kneel, and stand for duration of shift.
