Maintenance Director

Responsibilities :

Develops and administers programs related to plant operations, maintenance, facility enhancements, grounds providing consistent quality service and a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff in accordance with regulations and administrative guidelines for an acute care facility. Directs the repair, reconstruction and construction of the Rehabilatation Center's physical plant, equipment and its contents. Works with consultants and staff to develop, design and execute both new construction and existing renovation projects for St. Monica Center.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Ten years of relevant healthcare experience with a minimum of 5 years in management.
  Certification as Stationery Engineer (Third Class, or higher), Facilities Engineer, or Building Maintenance Operator required.
• Member of The American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) and a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager preferred, must obtain membership and certification within one year of service.
• Excellent communication, public speaking and interpersonal skills required.
