Our client is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work within their facilities located in Stratford, CT for a long-term assignment (with the possibility of extension depending on performance).
Accountabilities:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on grinders, pumps, valves, electrical systems, and dust collectors and experience in nitrogen.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures
  • Identify and order replacement parts
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
  • Work on call to respond to emergency maintenance issues
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of grinders, pumps, valves, electrical systems, and dust collectors
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Safety oriented
  • Valid driver's license
