We are currently seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Beachwoods Resort, a stunning 150-room year-round destination in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Nestled within a 100-acre Maritime Forest between the Atlantic Ocean and Albemarle Sound, the resort offers a breathtaking natural setting with lakes, woodlands, wetlands, and wildlife. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a essential role in maintaining the pristine condition of guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-the-house areas. Join us in ensuring the property remains attractive and well-maintained.

Duties include:

  • Establishes a clear line of communication with the engineering leadership.
  • Assist other maintenance staff on special projects.
  • Detailed record keeping for logs and inspection sheets.
  • Painting, stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, knockdown and popcorn ceilings.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures including drain cleaning.
  • Other duties as assigner by your leader.


Key Skills and experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1- 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Open and Flexible availability, to include weekends and holidays.
  • Can climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 100 lbs., lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and grasp, stoop, reach overhead with or without reasonable accommodations.
