re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is looking for a Maintenance Technician for its Reverse Logistics operation based in Greencastle, PA. Our mission is to manage and scale information technology asset disposition (ITAD) services for used electronics and electronic equipment (UEEE) through secure and environmentally sustainable practices supporting asset recovery, reuse, recycling, and other circular economy initiatives.

The maintenance technician role will oversee the safe operation of custom designed plant equipment, some of which is heavy mechanical. This role is separate to facilities maintenance that look after HVAC and life safety, etc.

Key job responsibilities

• \tPerforming regular PM (Preventative Maintenance) on plant equipment.

• \tAcquire and maintain OEM manuals pertaining to all plant equipment.

• \tAuditing equipment, ensuring all safety and protective guards are in place.

• \tTake partnerships regularly with environmental health and safety team and participate in any and all safety incident reviews and programs.

• \tAssess equipment breakdowns and perform certain on-site repairs depending on complexity.

• \tWhere repairs cannot be performed, escalate to support vendor and hold accountable to SLA's. Maintain callout log and report any breaches in SLA's.

• \tParticipate is annual budget cycles, ensure adequate budget for necessary repairs or upgrades.

• \tMaintaining 5S order and cleanliness at all times

• \tEscalating to senior management as needed/required

• \tWork and meet SLA's against assigned targets

• \tAdhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

• \tComply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

• \tRequires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time.

• \tTypically work is in a warehouse environment where the noise level is moderate to loud.

• \tOccasionally assist in loading and unloading shipments.

• \tOccasionally exposed to extreme cold or hot weather.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• \tMust be at least 18 years old.

• \tMust be able to work overtime as required.

• \tMust be able to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances.

• \tMay participate in group lifts of 50 pounds or more.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant job experience in a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• \tDemonstrated positive work attitude & leadership skills.

• \tProficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• \tExperience in vendor management

• \tExperience with robotic maintenance

• \tMaintenance Fitter experience - belt/chain/bearing replacement, swapping critical spares; motors, etc.

• \tUnderstanding of electrical systems - motor control.

• \tKnowledge of IT systems an advantage.
