      Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Management Services Technician (Personnel Coordinator) performs less technical and semiprofessional tasks, including researching, interpreting, and gathering information regarding personnel issues and within the Workforce Services Branch (WSB). The incumbent is responsible for performing routine personnel assignments within the Division and Branch.

      The incumbent displays a high degree of initiative and works independently to complete assigned tasks; demonstrates good judgment and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; performs a variety of duties requiring adaptation to various situations and judgment as to which work method to apply for the desired results utilizing time management skills and continual attention to detail. The incumbent is able to function rationally and deliberately under high-pressure situations to reach the best outcomes; and possesses good communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills, customer service skills, confidentiality and tact.

      This position is located in Riverside, but applicants must be willing to travel to multiple locations throughout the Southern Division. We currently offer a hybrid work model that is subject to change according to the operational needs or policy change.

      Background Investigation Requirement

      The position(s) may require an applicant to pass a background investigation. However, applicants will not be asked to provide information about a conviction history unless they receive a conditional offer of employment.
