Responsibilities
The Manager of Clinical Services will work in conjunction with, and by the direction of, the Director of Clinical Services to provide clinical support for operations to existing practice locations and newly acquired practices by consulting and advising clinicians on best-practices, implementing of/providing education and training programs, and collaborating on interdisciplinary projects. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure clinical operations and practice consistent with organizational objectives.
- Collaborates with practice management to provide support on operational projects such as site Quality Committees, Quality Oncology Practice Initiative site assessments, Advancing Care Information, the Oncology Care Model (OCM), and other special projects as assigned.
- Facilitates the implementation and/or utilization of outcomes data and evidence-based practices.
- Facilitates implementation of standardized best practices within the organization.
- Ensures practice standards of care are consistent with community standards of care.
- Ensures the incorporation of clinical evidence into existing and newly developed standards.
- Staff Development
- Assess staffing levels and issues, patient flow, current practices in the clinical setting.
- Assists with the development of company-wide clinical competency testing and skills validation programs.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of applicable labor laws and schedules and coordinates employee staffing including vacations, sick leave and overtime.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or other clinical field required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Advanced degree in nursing, healthcare or business field (MSN, MBA, MHA) preferred.
- Current state licensure for applicable clinical educational background.
- Current CPR certification required.
Business Experience:
- Minimum five years clinical experience in an oncology practice or clinic setting.
- Minimum one year of leadership experience.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Oncology certification preferred
