What Will I be Doing?

The Manager Food & Beverage is responsible for the overall management and operation of all food and beverage outlets within the resort. This includes supervising the development and implementation of food and beverage strategies, ensuring exceptional guest service, and driving profitability.

You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Food and Beverage Strategy Development: Develop and implement inclusive plans for food and beverage that align with the resort's overall goals and objectives.
  • Operations Management: Supervise the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, bars, and in-room dining.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, cost of goods sold, labor costs, and profitability.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with culinary teams to develop and implement innovative menus that meet guest expectations and drive revenue.
  • Guest Service: Ensure outstanding guest service by training and motivating staff to provide personalized experiences. Meets or exceeds guest happiness survey score goals.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing food and beverage team.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize costs.
  • Purchasing: Works with approved suppliers to increase discounts and acquire the best pricing and quality of products.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal liquor laws and regulations.
  • Training: Completes and oversees departmental completion of all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned and on time.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Implementing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Managing the restaurant's online presence and social media.
  • Lead all aspects of Banquets from marketing, sales performance, client management and event execution.

What Are We Looking For:

To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:

  • 5-7 years related experience
  • 4+ years management experience
  • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to perform well under pressure of meeting production schedules and timelines for guests' satisfaction.
  • Ability to use all senses to ensure food quality standards is met.
  • Ability to comprehend good quality products and maintain consistency on all finished products.
  • Basic mathematical skills, to include weights and measures.
  • Understand how to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Proficiency in understanding and crafting policies, procedures and manuals.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Skilled in prioritising tasks; ability to coordinate and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
  • Recognizes an emergency and takes appropriate action.
  • Able to establish and maintain a collaborative working relation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to use good judgment and work independently, with minimal direction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to change from one task to another of a different nature, with impending established timeframes.
  • Performs well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
  • Must be of legal age to sell/serve alcohol.
  • Cash handling skills (the ability to count currency, make and count back change).


In addition, the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are preferred:

  • Previous hotel/resort F&B leadership experience
  • Previous Banquet leadership experience
