Overview and Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Manager of Analytics to join our team. This role reports to the Director of Analytics. In this position, you are a key member of the Analytics leadership team and act as a strategic partner to senior management; will be hands-on and will lead efforts to support the business in strategic decision-making, strategic initiatives, budgeting and forecasting, operating and long-range plans and reporting; responsible for aggregating and analyzing data to provide key financial insights that drives the company's strategic decisions, financial forecasts and operating plans .

  • Adept at working under pressure and within short time constraints
  • Collaborate with customers across the organization to collect business requirements, triage issues, to ensure the completion of analytic requests
  • Provide insight into analytics team workflow structure and interdepartmental communication between IT, Analytics, and Operations
  • Answer high priority, highly analytical strategic questions to drive better understanding of business performance and to identify areas of opportunity
  • Assist in annual planning, forecasting and budgeting
  • Development of presentations for a range of audiences, with the ability to highlight the most important business topics, and a focus on actionable recommendations to address business needs
  • Drive data consistency across all departments within the organization
  • Drive towards solutions to effectively and collaboratively deliver results in cross-functional teams
  • Ensure accurate reporting on key business trends and competitor movements as needed
  • Ensure report requests are completed accurately in an expeditious fashion
  • Have a focus on developing databased recommendations and solutions
  • Independent and proactive work style and inquisitive demeanor
  • Leadership and project management skills in a team setting
  • Manage and develop team members
  • Manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
  • Manage report requests and assign to analysts

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, or other relevant field (Required)
  • Experience in a dynamic, high growth environment
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Advanced Business Intelligence skills (Tableau Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in:
    • Data analytics, management consulting and/or financial reporting
    • Relational databases, including SQL
    • Leadership experience

Preferred Education and/or Experience
  • Graduate Degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, or other relevant field

  • Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written, presentation and facilitation skills with ability to synthesize takeaways and recommendations from analysis
  • Helpful, knowledgeable and polite while maintaining a positive attitude
