Job Description

Department operations
Ensure daily operations of SPD fall within AMII guidelines
Staff schedules
Manage performance issues

Engage Physicians
Daily rounding with physicians

Finance and Efficiency
Meet supply and FTE budgets

Quality Metrics
Development and oversight of department based PI projects
Advance Patient safety and Quality

Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
And
Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience
3 Years clinical experience in a sterile processing department including some supervisory or leadership functions. Required

Licenses and Certifications
CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician Upon Hire Required
Or
CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician Upon Hire Required
Or
CBSPD - Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution Upon Hire Required

Skills
Leadership skills, good communication skills, problem solving; must perform daily operations within all areas of Sterile Processing Department.
