We have a phenomenal opportunity for a hardworking Manufacturing Engineer in our Lansing, MI location.

The Manufacturing Engineer plans sequences of operations, estimates time required and writes process sheets and bill of materials. Determines from part drawing and other engineering data manufacturing methods and processes necessary for the fabrication and assembly of complex products.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Investigates, establishes, and implements requirements for equipment, tooling, and material, including make or buy decisions and facility layout as required for new or revised products.

- Investigates and fixes manufacturing problems.

- Provides technical support to operations.

- Consults with design or projects engineering concerning the suitability or producibility of complex molds, fixtures, or parts.

EDUCATION:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering is required. (Minimum 3.0 average is a requirement)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- A minimum of3 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proficiency on the computer with Microsoft Office or similar and CAD software

- Able to interpret manufacturing drawings and 3D models.

- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, experience with Kaizen events or experience with a continuous improvement program (ACE, 6S, etc.).
