This position is responsible for the planning, setup, maintenance and repair of equipment, fixtures and assemblies utilized in the manufacturing process.
Primary Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance on common test system and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair of basic electrical power, signal, pneumatic and mechanical issues.
- Performs diagnostics in identifying equipment/process related defects.
- Perform basic tool and equipment calibrations and verifications.
- Generate Non-Production orders for equipment, tooling, parts and consumables.
- Work to deliver deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Repair of existing cables and harnesses.
- Assist in maintaining accurate calibration records.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Prioritize response to requests from production for equipment trouble calls.
- Set up and perform verification of Electrostatic Protection Areas.
- Attend meetings are required to support areas of responsibility and improvement.
- Analysis performance data, perform failure analysis based on KPI's.
- Assist CMMS administrators in maintaining parts and equipment via the CMMS.
- Track daily work through completion of work orders within CMMS.
Required Education and Experience
- 2-year degree from an accredited university or vocational school in Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering related field OR a combination of education and relevant experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of technical experience.
