Responsibilities

• Providing excellent service to the FSUPC campus (faculty, staff, and students), across a range of computing support activities.
• Provide computer support, including hardware repair, software installation, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with classroom technology and distance learning support.
• Assist with setup of A/V equipment for on-campus events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to one year.
• Willingness to learn, Aptitude for IT environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Basic network configuration and troubleshooting skills required.
• Experience with documenting processes (new and existing).
• Experience prioritizing, organizing, and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.
• Experience working successfully in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to comprehend technical documents and manuals.
• Ability to climb ladders and ability to lift and carry a minimum of 35lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• A+ certification or experience that demonstrates equivalent knowledge.
• Experience with A/V equipment and various classroom technology.
• Strong experience with Customer Service.

Anticipated Salary Range

$14.00/hr - $17.00/hr, commensurate with education and experience.

29 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch (or a similar schedule, to be negotiated).
