Insight Global is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Engineer with a focus on industrial projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing projects from inception to completion, with project sizes ranging from $50,000 to $10 million. The primary focus of these projects is the installation of sheet metal equipment, including de-coilers, roll formers, laminator presses, pumps, saws, cooling racks, and stacker systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, travel between offices and job sites in Arkansas, Pennsylvania, or California, and play a critical role in ensuring successful project execution.

1. Project Management:

o Effectively manage engineering projects from conception through design, installation, commissioning, and trials.

o Lead multi-discipline teams to ensure project success.

2. Process Improvement:

o Initiate process enhancements and efficiency modifications for our manufacturing lines.

o Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.

3. Project Execution:

o Complete engineering tasks delegated by the Divisional Engineering Manager.

o Travel to other manufacturing facilities within our business group to oversee divisional projects.

o Visit machine manufacturing vendors for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and verification, building valuable relationships.

4. Team Support:

o Manage and assist site teams with both minor and major manufacturing projects.

o Develop engineering designs and project plans following divisional standards.

o Provide advice and support for improvement initiatives.

5. Professional Development:

o Help develop a core team to support business objectives.

o Attend training sessions to enhance self-knowledge and technical skills.

6. Compliance and Reporting:

o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

o Monitor and report project progress, keeping stakeholders informed of key milestones.

7. Technical Advisory Role:

o Be a key support mechanism and technical advisor for site maintenance teams.

o Assist in implementing solutions for recurring machine process faults.

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

* Proven experience in industrial space, preferably within manufacturing

o Experience with sheet metal equipment, including de-coilers, roll formers, laminator presses, pumps, saws, cooling racks, and stacker systems

* Willingness to travel between offices and job sites.

* Familiarity with CAD software and project management tools.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

* Hands-on approach with excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.=

* Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles.

Education and Experience:

* Mechanical Degree

* Significant and demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering.

* Proven track record of managing manufacturing engineering projects throughout their entire life cycle.

* Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and generate 2D & 3D engineering drawings using tools like AutoCAD & SolidWorks.
