Manufacturing Technician - CMM Measurement

Job Purpose:

Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
• Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
• Works with engineers in conducting customer measurements based on blueprints for dimensions
• Performs True Position and 2 nd stage measurements
• Approves 1 st Articles at Drill and Fabrication
• Data Collection

Education and Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret PCB Blueprints
• Must understand process travelers, customer specifications and tolerances specified on travelers or blueprints.
• Candidate must have good communication skills
• Previous experience in a PCB manufacturing environment is a plus
• Sanmina experience plus

Salary Range: $39,520 - $43,680
