Team Introduction
The Global Marketing Procurement team facilitates multi-million dollar annual purchases across a variety of marketing categories. Our mission is to enhance the business units' competitive edge by providing excellent "visible, controllable, and deliverable" procurement practices & solutions.

This role will lead a team of Marketing buyers responsible for all marketing services across the Americas including Media, PR, Social Media, Research, Creative, Events and more responsible for ensuring the team delivers optimal program value coupled with efficient and compliance execution. Along with leading the team, this person will also support various marketing categories, manage the stakeholder relationship, and ensure procurement best practices/policies are utilized.
This leader must coach and mentor in a highly collaborative, analytical, creative, and fast-paced environment. We are looking for a talent with strong analytical skills who can identify the root cause of issues and drive solutions in complex situations. This person should be self-motivated and results-driven. Additionally, the candidate is expected to be a strong communicator and influencer, with the ability to cooperate concisely and effectively with multiple stakeholders to drive innovation and change.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a team of buyers to excel within the Marketing categories and influence stakeholder relationships in alignment with overarching Procurement Americas and Global Strategy
- Partner with Marketing teams to develop sourcing strategy across multiple sub-categories, including Media buying, Creative & Video Production, Social and PR communication, Events, etc.
- Manage P2P procurement process management including purchase requests consolidation, supplier selection, contract negotiation and PO management
-Lead and assist with RFx efforts and negotiation strategies and contracting process
-Responsible for team KPI performance and supplier management
- Leading continual improvement and innovation in company compliance, supplier management, sourcing process optimization, and purchasing efficiency;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve work efficiency, and accountability for flawless and professional execution of strategies and timely resolution of issues.
- Lead and manage key internal and external procurement partnerships
-Lead negotiations with suppliers and coach team members on negotiations to maximize value while considering TCO (total cost of ownership), service and quality.
-Analyze and monitor market trends, supplier landscape and innovation for respective categories
-Implement and ensure compliance of Global/Regional policies and procedures and ensure process governance

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Mastery of Procurement value contributions including but not excluding: category management, Supplier management, Leading RFx process, Budgeting, Market analysis, Risk Management, contract negotiation and driving cost savings
- Marketing-related procurement experience is mandatory, through which you demonstrated the ability to: develop sourcing strategies, lead commercial tactics such as negotiation and competitive bidding, manage supplier agency relationships, and influence leadership/peers to drive business value.
- Experienced and comfortable leading/directly managing people
- Deep Knowledge of the Procure to Pay process and experience working in P2P systems
- Solid written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Globally minded, experience working with teams/partners/vendors/stakeholders outside of the Americas
- Detailed-oriented, self-motivated, ability to navigate complex situations, having a can-do attitude with a sense of urgency & able to work under pressure.
- Ability to define, recommend and execute short, medium and long term plans to deliver continuous improvement and value in cost, service, innovation, and process while maintaining compliance
- Problem-solving and independent thinking.
- Data-driven or quantitative analysis skills.
