This position reports to

Procurement Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

-Manage appropriate documentation related to material movements -Load raw materials into automated material storage systems -Perform material movements throughout the production environment -Unload and stock incoming materials (up to 40 lbs. repetitively) -Receive raw materials, chemicals, parts, and other items -Operate forklift/reach truck to put away inventory -Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and Policies -Maintain fabrication material stores area and participate in housekeeping/safety/environmental inspections -Place Safety as a core value and perform all work to Safety specifications -Identify process deviations and perform root cause/corrective action -Must wear specified company-provided personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses with side shields, and hearing protection always in designated areas -Must be willing to work schedule as dictated by the department -Willing to work Overtime as required with or without prior notice -Must be dependable, reporting to work on time, ready to work -Be familiar with basic computer functions such as creating, sending, and receiving e-mail and data entry -Have a strong work ethic, demonstrating both initiative and a professional attitude -Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills -Must be able to perform the essential elements of the positions with or without reasonable accommodation -Must be willing to work in a Non-Temperature Controlled Environment Work duties may include walking up to five miles daily in a warehouse environment -Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for the role

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Warehouse and Inventory management.
  • Type of Experience: Materials, Planning, Inventory management etc.
  • Required Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Sense of urgency
  • ERP knowledge
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP ERP
