This position reports to

Shipping Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that shipping operations are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. This is a key position in the Distribution Solutions team. Reporting to the Logistics Manager. As a warehouse operator/material handler you will commit to follow company policies, procedures and guidelines. The individual will perform a variety of computer based shipping activities. This position also requires forklift certification and the ability to operate various material handling equipment.

Qualifications for the role

• Follow all safety and 5S guidelines
• Prepare domestic and export shipments using ERP and Transportation software systems
• Responsible for accurate data entry and processing as per the sales order requirement
• Track & Trace Shipments
• Pull stock to fill customer orders
• Perform accurate inventory counts
• Load and Unload Trucks
• Be a Self-Starter and be willing to cross-train
• Must be dependable
• Communicate clearly
• Flexible to Work Overtime on short notice
• Ability to read and comprehend information
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management
• Physical duties of warehousing: Palletizing product
• Required to lift up to 50lbs on a frequent basis
• Demonstrated experience working in warehouse or manufacturing environment, if applicable
• SAP knowledge is plus
