Summary

Perform a broad range of activities associated the support, development, implementation and deliverance of Materials Management services. Coordinate and support projects. Provide procurement coordination support including liaison with Partners HealthCare System (PHS) purchasing, product analysis, and expense reduction support. Identify and support the implementation of process improvements; identify and support opportunities to expand existing services and recommends new ones. Provide operational support to Spaulding Network materials management team through information gathering and analysis, operational coordination and problem solving. Support the delivery of high quality customer service, seeking customer feedback and leading customer service initiatives. Collaborate with leadership of PHS, Partners Continuing Care to advance department objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Projects and program development initiatives are followed to achieve established goals and objectives.
  • Customer's supply and equipment is managed by coordinating with PHS purchasing, analyzing prices, and providing usage and trend information.
  • Quality and scope of services is managed to meet customer needs and expand the customer base served.
  • Customer consultation is provided to identify opportunities to streamline operations resulting in increased efficiency and lower costs.
  • Supplier relationships are cultivated through the development and implementation of quality programs.
  • Budget is monitored to achieve financial objectives.
  • Additional department, organization, or network activities are completed per established objectives.

Qualifications

Prior experience in materials management in a healthcare setting preferred.
