Mechanical Design Engineer

Akkodis is recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer for an aerospace manufacturer in the Grand Rapids, MI area. This is an onsite contract position with a pay rate of $55-$65 an hour.

Bacheors Degree in Mechancial, Aerospace Engineering.

• Avionics experience (electrical packaging); aerospace preferred.
• Must Haves:
  
  • 5 years' experience
  • proficient Siemens NX
  • PTC Wind Chill PDM system (ideal need)
  • Engineering change orders
  • US Person, ideally US Citizen
  • Familiarity with GD&T
  • Dimensional tolerance stack-up analysis (nice to have)
  • Electronic Packaging Design, electronic circuit card design
• Modeling and design work; engineering change orders
• Limited training - they need someone to hit the ground running.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
