Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for one of our clients to sit onsite in Euclid, OH. They will be evaluating hardware discrepancies to contract requirements and design integrity with the intent of determining proper technical disposition and justification to customer. Performing and reviewing structural and mechanical analyses using computer and standard engineering principles and preparing and reviewing technical reports for customer submittal and approval. This person will also generate and maintain computer models and drawings of component parts and assemblies. They will be facing customers, engineers, and other functional departments in support of engineering department objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (may have some flex for another engineering field if experience is there)

* 2-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering field

* Knowledge and understanding of stress analysis

* 2D or 3D CAD modeling and FEA software experience

* Familiarity with engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing

* Strong verbal and technical writing skills

* Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE (Department of Energy) security clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience with finite element analysis (ANSYS)

* Experience with Creo CAD software
