We are currently searching for a Mechanical Engineer for our Dallas, TX office. The individual will be responsible for:
- Designing mechanical systems for highly integrated facilities. Perform load calculations, static pressure calculations, pump head calculations, energy analysis, etc.
- Develop mechanical specifications, AutoCAD and 3D BIM modeling of systems, mechanical equipment schedules, etc.
- The applicant will be expected to work independently with minor guidance on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects.
- Position may include field investigation and mechanical inspection for projects.
- As required, the Mechanical PE is expected to work with others, with the team, or outside of the team to complete mechanical system designs for more complex projects.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- PE required
- Position requires high verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Prefer proficiency with Revit
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED is desirable
- Must have a valid Texas Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering with HVAC- related emphasis
- Minimum 5 years experience with mechanical system design for healthcare, education, science and technology, and federal
- Experience in HVAC and plumbing system design
- Mechanical system design experience for water/waste water experience is a bonus
