Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.

This position is 1 day remote, 4 days onsite. (Depending on performance)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mechanical Design Engineer on a small team to perform Missile and Pod technical data package updates over a 24 month period in preparation for full rate production of the hardware. Assignment includes: required design changes, cost reduction changes, supplier ramp-up to initial production.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Geometric Dimension and Tolerance understanding
o 3D CAD modeling and drafting experience
o Past performance as an individual contributor
o Experience with formalized drawing release process and configuration management

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Strong performance in a small team environment
o Missile or Rocket program experience
o Creo CAD software
o Windchill PDM software

EDUCATION:
Accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
