Position Overview

Collins Aerospace is looking for a motivated engineering co-op student to help us design, develop and maintain high quality, reliable and safe avionic equipment.

As an engineering co-op in our Systems Architectures department, you will be responsible for working with other hardware and systems engineers to support new and existing products. Projects include support of cockpit displays and control panels, servos for control surface actuation, as well as a variety of other avionics equipment to enable aircraft connectivity.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Investigation of production issues, including developing and implementing solutions
• Support thermal and/or vibration testing of products to ensure survivability or for product improvement
• Support in-service avionics hardware failure investigations
• Facilitate build of prototype assemblies for testing

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder
