Position overview
The candidate will have opportunities to work on range systems including Avionic based systems for a military platform that would include the controls, displays, and related functionality for a pilot to fly an aircraft, systems that combine avionics and ground systems for training pilots, or network systems to securely move data around the battlespace.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Decompose customer needs and requirements into high level system requirements to guide system design and flow down to sub-systems.
• Update or modify design artifacts to meet new requirements.
• Create or modify test procedures and test plans to verify the system works properly once implemented
• Perform tests against integrated system to capture test results and identify any issues
• Be self driven and motivated to dive in on challenging assignments
• A passion to work on new technologies to support our war fighters in airborne systems

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder

Preferred Qualifications:

• Use of avionic systems and understanding of systems used to fly a plane
• Understanding and use of network systems and protocols
• Understanding and use of cloud computing (containers / kubernetes)
• Experience integrating software into a target hardware environment
