Mechanical HVAC Systems Engineer Level 5

An employer in the Titusville, FL market is looking for an HVAC Controls Systems Engineer Level 5 to join their team. This person will be responsible for writing procedures and escalations for maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC controls hardware systems. This includes chillers (from 300-500 tons), boilers, cooling towers, etc. This role will be 50% in the office and 50% in the field.

Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related scientific field)
15+ years of experience performing maintenance of HVAC hardware:
o Chillers up to 300-500 tons
o Cooling towers
o Valves
o Refrigeration
o Ductwork
o Heating/cooling loads
o Air handlers
o Heat exchangers
o Energy recovery units
o Pumps
o Refrigerant
o Chilled water piping
o Heat pumps
o Electric heaters
o Fans
o Dehumidifiers
o Energy balances
o Piping calculations
o Psychrometrics

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Member of the ASHRAE American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers
Member of the AFE Association of Facilities Engineers
Experience with Andover, Schneider or Ecostruxure Building Automation Systems
