Position Details:
• Title: Level 2-3 Assembler
• Location: Pinellas Park, FL
• Compensation: $18.39-$22.97 (annual merit based raise as well as annual automatic raise of $.60/hr)

Position Description:
• Performs a variety of operations to manufacture, assemble and/or refurbish various aircraft parts and structures.
• Assemblies can require controlled tooling as well as build to print. Tasks include aligning parts on jigs using both templates and fixtures.
• Must be able to drill close tolerance holes. Performs part-fitting operations such as minor filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, drilling, reaming, riveting, countersinking, and cold working.
• Measures parts with a variety of methods to verify dimensions. May modify incomplete and complete assemblies to incorporate changes and perform repairs.
• Works from blueprint diagrams, drawings, specifications, and shop orders.
• Monitors and verifies quality and develops corrective action.
• Performs other duties as assigned. Preforms corrosion inspection and repair per engineering requirements.

Requirements:
(Level 2)
• Must have experience with use of hand tools (i.e. torque wrench, drills and inspection tools, riveting tools, and various other hand tools).
• Ability to read and interpret assembly Drawings or Instructions.
• Focus on cost, quality, schedule and safety
• Aircraft Assembly experience
• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (or equivalent)
(Level 3)
• 1 - 2 years of sheet metal assembly/aircraft sheet metal structure experience is required
• Must be able to use hand tools (drills, torque wrench and inspections tools)
• Basic Computer Skills
• Focus on cost, quality, schedule and safety
• Aircraft Assembly experience
