Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing clerical duties such as preparing correspondences and/ or reports; utilizing office automation systems; and maintaining patient schedules. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
OR
Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Healthcare Administration or Business Administration.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages.
AND
Proficiency Required:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.

Duties
- Serve as functional system liaison for the workload and readiness module of the Corporate Dental Application (CDA).
- Provide administrative support to insure that monthly workload is reported in a timely, accurate manner.
- Create provider templates for workload entry and keeps all templates current.
- Work closely with the CDA Automation Team for analysis and resolution of system-wide problems.
- Continuously monitor data and systems applications to ensure that dental personnel comply with the changes.
- Possess knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to dental clerks in assigned clinics on capabilities and use of CDA.
- Provide follow-up training on an individual basis and monitors progress of personnel.

- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
