RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform laboratory analysis following documented procedures.
  • This includes performing PCR (polymerase chain reaction) based molecular assays, possessing basic knowledge of molecular biology and molecular technologies, and executing all tasks with attention to details.
  • Verify and report laboratory findings in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Follow all established regulations related to specimen processing, QC, lab safety, etc.


MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required
  • Bachelor's Degree in medical technology, related life science, or applied science field.
  • 1 year experience and/or training in a laboratory setting
  • ASCP certification preferred.


Conditions of Employment

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
