Volt is hiring for a Merchandise Marketing Coordinator in Kissimmee, FL.

As a Merchandise Marketing Coordinator you will:

• Manage and coordinate the procurement and delivery of merchandise samples to multiple partners such at Public Relations, Site Marketing, Synergy, etc. Also, assist with the room set-up for product showcases (when necessary).
• Assume responsibility and accuracy of the sample tracker to ensure all partners have prioritized product for photo.
• Shoots, influencers, product unboxing, media events and TikToks.
• Ensure weekly social media recap is compiled and distributed.
• Assist with identifying and communicate O&O Merchandise big bets and marketing beats to marketing, commercialization partners.
• Work with O&O merchandising teams to identify key category initiatives that need marketing beats to drive revenue
• Maintain library of marketing integration photo images.
• Ensure clearance of cross-category program names for marketing purposes.
• Develop effective partnerships with the key partners.
• Help facilitate the bi-weekly O&O Merchandise Marketing Communications meeting that ensures messaging alignment among multiple partners such as Public Relations, site marketing, and synergy. Identify opportunities and white space.
• Work with Merchandise Manager to ensure seasonal product opportunities are heightened to ensure product sell-through is optimized during current season to avoid inventory liability.
• Help with messaging collaboration for Owned & Operated activations.
• Assist Marketing Integration team to drive the best impression of our brands through marketing.
• Provide support for key milestone meeting with the development of presentation decks, briefs, recaps and assembling input from key partners.
• Assist with various merchandising team projects as required.
• Knowledge on the competitive environment - actively explore opportunities to differentiate product positioning and product prioritization.

This is a full-time 5-month hybrid contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years merchandising, product development, retail, visual merchandising, or related experience required.
• Passion for retail and product development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to communicate with all levels across the organization.
• Strong teamwork skills; ability to build and maintain good rapport with both internal partners and handle situations (including conflict) with confidence and tact. Able to appropriately represent the company in communications with external partners and vendors.
• Flexible and adaptable with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize workload and concurrently manage multiple projects.
• High level of attention to detail; proactive, with strong follow through skills.
• Demonstrated positive attitude with the ability to be responsive to feedback and pivot based on changing organization priorities.
• Demonstrated personal initiative skills in the workplace.
• Can-do attitude with willingness to learn new skills and processes.
• Resourceful with ability to make decisions and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

• Understands key business drivers and uses this knowledge in own work.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP.

Pay Rate Range: $ 21.00-27.00/hr Depending on Experience
