Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Mobile Applications Security Engineer- Penetration

Position Type: Contract
Duration: 6 Months
Location: 100% Remote

As a Mobile Applications Security Engineer- Penetration you will:

Be responsible for executing and driving security posture validation, application testing, Penetration testing and the management of vulnerabilities on systems within the client's networks. Consulting with our IT partners and developers will also be a critical part of this role to ensure effective secure coding practices.

Important Updates on This Job:

• Perform triage and configuration for automated mobile security testing tools.
• Coordinate with our 3 rd party penetration testing team to assist with the risk ranking, validation, and remediation efforts for mobile penetration testing.
• Experienced in manual mobile penetration testing (iOS and Android)
• Experience with mobile app development (iOS or Android)- Nice to Have

Other Roles & Responsibilities:

• Triage vulnerabilities across all of JB's automated scanning sources (DAST, SAST, SCA, IAST, Mobile, Cloud, Network perimeter, etc.)
• Assist in the development and maintenance of JB's vulnerability management program that will ensure the timely identification, reporting and remediation of cloud and application vulnerabilities.
• Administer testing platform and work with vendors to ensure proper configurations / features are enabled and working as expected.
• Create technical documentation to support internal security processes.
• Research and develop skills personally and share insights with the team.
• Align with security operations center (SOC) regarding external threats to the bank.
• Educate various teams on the threat actor tactics and techniques, and guide IT teams to improve security controls to mature our defense in depth security posture.
• Help align secure cloud and software development processes to industry best practices.
• Regular reporting of team and project activities to leadership.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of Mobile Application Security engineering, Penetration Testing or software development.
• OSCP, OSWE, OSWP, CEH, CISSP, or similar industry-recognized certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Networks, Cloud, , web applications, and scripting languages.
• Strong knowledge of tools used for, web applications, and network security testing.
• Strong knowledge of common attack tools, concepts, and frameworks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate highly technical topics to non-technical people effectively.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or other cloud frameworks.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $80-100/hr on W2
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
