Insight Global looking for a skilled and motivated Mobile Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The primary function of this position is to perform skilled mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of Forklifts and heavy-duty equipment. The Mobile Equipment Mechanic/Specialist is responsible for the performance of skilled mechanical tasks in the major repair of, heavy Forklift equipment and support equipment with minimum or no supervision. General supervision is received from an immediate supervisor.

Required Skills & Experience

* High School Diploma or equivalent education supplemented by technical or vocational automotive/heavy equipment maintenance training required.

* Considerable experience in skilled automotive/heavy equipment repair work for at least 5 years.

* Ability to interpret service manuals.

* Must have steel-toed boots- up to $220 reimbursement/year after conversion. All other equipment will be provided.

* Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions sufficient to carry out repair orders, understands maintenance records and equipment specifications.

* Basic knowledge of mathematics.

* Thorough knowledge of the operating and repair characteristics of a variety of light and heavy-duty equipment.

* Ability to direct, supervise, and train personnel.

* Knowledge of principles and practices used to diagnose equipment problems by the use of computerized test equipment.

* Skill in the use of testing and measuring instruments.

* Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and of related safety practices.

* Ability to perform assigned tasks properly and in a timely manner.

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

* Ability to operate personal computer and knowledge of basic computer applications, including computer generated parts and service manuals.

* Must work overtime as required by management.
