Duties
  • You will operate one or more types of gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles typically with a gross vehicle weight of more the 26,000 and up to 32,000 pounds.
  • You will drive on public roads (or equivalent) in a full range of traffic conditions and at highway speeds to transport cargo and/or passengers.
  • You will read maps and judge road/traffic conditions to determine the shortest and safest route.
  • You will ensure that passenger safety rules and regulations are followed.
  • You will provide consistently prompt, courteous, and smooth passenger service.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time

  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required
  • This position requires rotating shift work
  • Must be willing to be Recalled to Duty outside of normal working hours
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing
  • This position requires that the selectee have visual acuity and accurate color discrimination. I am able to distinguish between colors and shades of colors.
  • Must possess a current Class "B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

ABILITY TO JUDGE ROAD/TRAFFIC CONDITIONS AND READ MAPS TO DETERMINE THE SHORTEST AND FASTEST ROUTE.
