MRI Technologist Assistant - MRI - Part-Time - Evenings

Job Description:

• PURPOSE OF JOB : Assist staff technologists with associated duties in the MRI department

• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

1. Ensure MRI safety screening has been completed on each patient.

2. Greet patient and escort them to MRI suite. In the case of inpatients, help to transfer them on to table.

3. Properly position patient for exam, remove when completed.

• Ensure paperwork is complete for current patient.

5. Assist technologist with ancillary duties.

Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS :

• Education: High school graduate.

• Experience: Prior medical office experience is helpful.

• Other Skills: Good communication skills. Accurate recording and

documentation skills. Good telephone skills.

Able to work in timely manner under pressure.

Able to work well with technologist and Radiologists
