MRI Technologist

Description:  

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality MRI services while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:  

• Analyze patient histories and complete screenings for pacemakers and injuries involving metal objects  

• Prepare and administer contrast dyes as needed  

• Address patients’ concerns and ensure they are comfortable and calm during scans  

• Perform regular inspections of MRI equipment and schedule maintenance and repairs as needed  

• Position patients and complete MRI scans according to physicians' specifications  

• Ensure MRI rooms are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times  

• Train junior MRI Technologists and provide support to new staff  

• Write reports and escalate any issues to the relevant stakeholders  

• Carry out quality assurance procedures and implement improvements as required
