Chipton-Ross is seeking a Munitions Systems Technician for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will coordinate the planning and execution of integration projects across Sustainment.
The individual will perform analysis of the sustainment system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
The individual will interface with multiple disciplines daily and should have strong interpersonal skills and a desire to learn.
The individual will provide technical knowledge in the testing, operation, calibration, and maintenance of HIMARS and M270 Launchers.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-Knowledge of shipping/receiving/warehousing activities
-Able to execute warehouse tasks that involve lifting items that weigh 40 lbs
-Able to operate material handling equipment (pallet stacker, forklift, etc)
-Proficiency/experience using Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint
-Troubleshooting experience troubleshooting including fault isolation, diagnostics, and repair of electrical and/or hydraulic/mechanical systems
- Ability to perform electrical measurements and analysis using a variety of tools, measurement, and test equipment (Multimeters, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzers)
- Familiarity with depot level maintenance procedures and repair methods
- Ability to understand schematics, generate rework instructions, diagnose faults and troubleshoot all-up assemblies to the SRU level and circuit cards down to the component level
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
-Technical writing experience and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups.
-Experience with the government DD250 Process
-Familiar with Electrostatic Discharge Procedures
-Electric standup pallet stacker or forklift experience
-Experience with the Army supply system
-Military experience
