Position Summary
The NNP functions collaboratively with the supervising Neonatologists to coordinate the patient care needs of the high-risk newborn population at Children's Hospital and Clinics of MN. The NNP collaboratively manages the critically ill infant's cares using expertise and evaluative tools to address the overall medical management of the infants.
This position will provide coverage for our 3 Community Campus sites: Mercy, St. Francis, and Ridgeview. 3 years level III or 2 years level III and 1 year transport experience REQUIRED. Shifts vary 10, 14, 24 hours.
Qualifications:
License/Certification requirements: Current MN RN License, Current MN APRN License, Current BLS Certification, Current NRP. Completed advanced training program and is certified by NCC as a neonatal nurse practitioner. Minimum 3 year NNP experience in a Level III NICU or 2 years NNP experience in Level III NICU and 1 year transport experience REQUIRED
Ability to work well both independently and as a team member. Uphold NNP best practices in all practice environments. Flexibility.
