DEPCOM Power, a Koch Industries company, is a leading renewable energy Engineering, Procurement, & Construction (EPC) firm, is looking to add a NERC Compliance Program Manager to their team. In this role, you will have oversight of the DEPCOM NERC program and support NERC compliance for utility scale PV Solar, Battery Storage, and Repowering projects. This role requires prior experience building and maintaining sustainable NERC compliance programs. This role is based out of the headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ. Remote and/or hybrid candidates with previous NERC Program Manager experience may be considered.

What You Will Do
  • Responsible for administering NERC compliance programs, including understanding, interpreting and providing technical assistance for new NERC initiatives and ongoing responsibilities.
  • Support administration of responsibilities for assets and service obligations.
  • Identifies standards that may have a business impact and effectively communicates with management regarding impact on operations or business processes.
  • Lead development of DEPCOM's response to NERC inquiries.
  • Provide company technical assessments on NERC compliance documentation from internal/external auditors.
  • Ensure appropriate communications across all registered affiliates on compliance expectations.
  • Assess, identify and prioritize NERC compliance risks based on regulatory requirements.
  • Interface directly with regulatory & reliability agencies on standards and enforcement.
  • Responsible for identifying improvements to content/format of NERC program initiatives.
  • Keep up to date on current NERC trends and issues to design, implement, administer NERC compliance programs.
  • Promote awareness across the business and with customers on relevant NERC related matters.
  • Subject matter expert to both internal and external audiences.
  • Work with the internal audit group in leading, planning and coordinating quality compliance reviews.
  • Identify needs and coordinate integration of business tools and IT applications to monitor and develop documentation necessary to assure full NERC compliance.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience building and maintaining sustainable NERC compliance programs
  • Experience with bulk electrical system operating practices, operations, and transmission
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship

For this role, we anticipate paying $150k - $210k per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
