.Net Full stack Engineer

Job Summary

Cognizant is looking for a .Net Full stack Engineer with 8-12 years of experience in ASP .Net & Web API . Must have experience in developing customized product for our clients. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies. Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.

An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the "team" and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.

Location: Mettawa - IL

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable software solutions using ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement best practices in code development, testing, and maintenance to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in web technologies and regulatory standards to ensure our solutions are compliant and competitive. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure they meet the required standards of functionality and security.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Work closely with the regulatory affairs team to ensure all software solutions comply with industry and regulatory standards.
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
• Document all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial planning to deployment.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards across the team.
• Address and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner. - Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the developed applications.

Required Qualifications :

• Must have a strong foundation in ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API.
• Proven experience in navigating regulatory approvals within the software development context is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Experience in agile development methodologies is highly desirable.
• A bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required.
