As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), NRO's Internet Network, Intranet, and Internet and other data communications systems or a segment of a network system in support of the mission!

What You Will Be Doing :
  • Maintaining network hardware and software.
  • Monitoring network to ensure network availability to all system users and performing necessary maintenance to support network availability.
  • Supervising other network support and client server specialists and planning, coordinating, and implementing network security measures.
  • Overseeing network control centers.
  • Providing support to projects that involve networks.
  • Evaluating new network technologies and making recommendations to project managers regarding the integration of these technologies into the existing network.
  • Planning new network configurations and integration into existing networks to maintain optimal performance.
  • Ensuring that plans for hardware and communications are adequate.
  • Developing and implementing methodologies for analysis, installation, and support of voice communications systems.
  • Providing support in the translation of business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, WAN, Voice, and Video) requirements, designs, and orders.


Required Skills:

Must Have :
  • MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.
  • 7 years of relevant experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 0 years of experience, a Master's and1 year, a Bachelor's and 2 years, an Associate's and 5 years, or HS and 7 years.
  • Must be compliant with DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
  • Experience with both Cisco and Juniper routers.
